Q: I am living in Taif for work purposes. I frequently go for Umrah from Taif, however sometimes I go to Musjid ul Haraam to perform salaah such as the Jumuah salaah.
I have recently been told that it is not permissible to go to Musjid ul Haraam just to perform salaah as respect of the Haram demands that we wear ihraam and perform Umrah before entering. Can you please clarify if it is permissible for me to go to Musjid ul Haraam just to perform salaah without performing Umrah?
Q: If a person comes to Makkah in ihraam but doesn't do Umrah and goes to Madinah and comes back again to Makkah and does Umrah. Is it valid? Is it mandatory once he comes to Makkah to do Umrah? He was in ihraam all time and didn't come out until umrah was completed?
Q: I work as a flight attendant for an airline. Sometimes when I come to Jeddah, once I come to the hotel, I shower and put on my ihram on and go and do umrah. Is this ok?
Q: If one is in Makkah and visits Taif then returns to Makkah, does one need to don the ihraam again?
Q: I want to go to Makkah for ziyarat but not with niyyat of umrah. Is it allowed to go to Makkah without ihraam? I live in Dammam and as per my visa I am not allowed to do umrah. So I can’t do umrah. Also I haven’t done umrah before so can I visit Makkah?
Q: I am going to travel to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. I have niyyat for Umrah and will be travelling to Jeddah to my relatives house and will be going to Makkah the next day. Do I need to wear ihram from Dammam or should I wear ihram in Jeddah at my relatives house before leaving for Umrah the next day.

1. If a person is living in Jeddah for job purposes. He goes to Pakistan for one month leave (crosses the meeqat) and returns to Jeddah after one month. Now if he intends to go to Masjid ul Haram, does he need to wear ihraam or can he go for tawaf or prayers, etc.?
2. If this person goes to Madinah from Jedddah, he is crossing the meeqat, then he returns to Jeddah on the same day. Now if he goes to Masjid ul Haram, does he need to wear ihraam and first perform umrah or can he go to the Haram for tawaf and prayer, etc. without ihraam.
Q: I frequently travel to Saudi Arabia. What if I decide to do umrah one day from Dammam to Madinah. Do I need to wear ihram from my house/hotel in Dammam or can I wear the ihram at Dammam airport also.
Q: I am planning to go for Umrah in Ramadhaan. We will be reaching Jeddah at around 10 pm and after immigration formalities we will travel to Makkah. We will hardly be reaching around Sehri.
The problem is that we will be too tired to perform Umrah immediately. Is it possible that we will not make niyyat of ihraam and after reaching the hotel, we will take rest and then the next day in the evening after Iftar we will go to nearest miqaat place and then make niyyat of ihram and perform Umrah.
