Lillah and charity

Can the poor also earn rewards like the rich despite not having wealth to spend in charity?

Q: How can a poor person compete with a wealthy person in terms of good deeds as the wealthy are able to do so much more good deeds with their wealth? In fact, wealthy people can even receive rewards after they pass away due to Sadaqah Jariyah, but as for the poor, their rewards are very little.

Assisting beggars

Q: What are we supposed to do with the beggers around the street and market from which most of them are physically normal and mentally stable while other are handicapped or old. Should we help them by giving them money or not?

Giving sadaqah for a safe delivery

Q: I have a question that my wife is pregnant for the second time. We have one more baby Alhamdulillah. In a couple of days, we have seen that we have lost our first child and later we got her in the dream. We want to give Sadaqah of our first child as well as of the baby who is in his/her mother womb. So is it possible that we can give Sadaqah of the child who is supposed to come in Duniya very soon?

Intention when giving sadaqah

Q: 1. When giving Sadaqah should we make niyyah that I am giving this sadaqah for the good health of my children and family members? Or just the niyyah of sadaqah is sufficient in helping ease our difficulties?

2. If sadaqah is given with the niyyah of good health/protection of ones family, will one get the sawab too?
