Q: According to sharia law, some crimes are punishable by death e.g stone to death. Then, when the person dies, does he go directly to heaven because this is a martyr death?

Q: My father commands that I fold one corner of my musalla after using it. He believes that Jinn will read Salaah on it and I will be harmed if I interrupt their Salaah. I have respectfully tried showing him that this is incorrect. However, he does not want to accept. He said he learnt this from his mother, hence it must be right. I do not want to show him the ruling that appears in Bahisti Zewar on the same; I fear that he may say something dangerous in a state on anger.

1. Is it necessary to follow his command in this matter?

2. If so, can I disobey it when he will not have any knowledge about it? Like if he is not around, for example.

Q: Coeducation is allowed in Islam? There is no good university where there is no coeducation and it is also the demand of nowadays to study in high level institutions. So what should we do now?

Q: Can announcing the sighting of the new moon in the masaajid be considered a bidah. For the month of Ramadhaan and for both Eids I would think that it is important. But for the other months of the year is just writing on the musjid board not sufficient. Q: I was reading the Quran at zawaal time about half an hour before Zohar time. Someone told me to stop praying because we are not allowed to pray at that time, is this correct? I thought just sajda was forbidden. Are we allowed to read Quran before sunrise?

1. In fazaail-e-amaal we read that minor sins are easily pardoned. What are the differences between major and minor sins?

Q: If I make a mannat that I will read Surah rahmaan eleven times everyday if my (specific) work gets done and after the work gets done I was supposed to read surah rehman everyday eleven times but I missed a few days because of haiz, so do I have to make up any kaffarah?

Q: As a Hanafi, I read in the riyaadus saaliheen that eesale thawaab is only permissible with water and reciting the Qur'an does not benefit the living or the deceased. Kindly comment.

Q: I have a very close friend of mine. Due to some personal reasons, I am feeling like as if someone has done some magic on her. I wanted to ask about some dua as told by Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) or mentioned in Quran to get a solution for it. Furthermore, I wanted to know whether it is alright to recite this dua even if we doubt that somebody is under the influence of magic? I wanted to confirm this.
