Using lillah for personal use and doing a transfer into the lillah account and using lillah to pay for bank charges

Q: We have 3 bank accounts from the same bank. One is personal, one is lillah and the other is Zakaat. We use these via the banking app on the phone.

1. Many times, we receive cash lillah donations for which there is no immediate use. Depositing those funds into the account will cost high deposit fees. Can we use that for personal use and then do internal transfer from our personal account to the lillah account? Or is it compulsory to deposit and pay the deposit fees? Who should incur that fee? Donors give any amount like R500 or R2000 or R3000 in cash for general or sometimes specific needs. The deposit fee will then be deducted according to the amount. Who must bear that fee. The internal transfer is primarily meant to save those costs.

2. All 3 accounts incur monthly interest. Withdrawing those interest funds is a cost. Even transferring them via eft is a cost though much less. Can we remove those interest amounts from cash on hand? Again, this is to save lillah and Zakaat funds.

3. When transferring Zakaat to a recipient via eft, there is a bank charge that comes off the Zakaat account. How should this be done or who should bear this cost?

Imaam renting out a waqf house and earning a rental from it

Q: The trustees of a certain masjid allowed the imaam to reside in a house which is owned by the masjid waqf trust. However, instead of the imaam residing in the house, he rented out the house to a third person thereby receiving a monthly rental.

Was the imaam allowed to do this? If not, then what should be done with the rent that was received? Is it permissible for the trustees to allow the imaam to keep the rent?

Reciting a Shaadh Qiraat

Q: Based on the following Hadith, how should we recite the third verse in Surah Layl?

Purchasing products that have a cross

Q: As we have to buy products like sunscreens and medicine even from the non Muslims (if the ingredients are halaal), they sometimes put crosses on the packaging. For instance, a sunscreen package may have a cross, the same goes for some medicines or patches.

Is it considered haraam for us to buy such medicine or sunscreens if the packaging has a cross?

Method of making salaam with the imaam after salaah

Q: Should a follower in salaah make salaam:

1. Simultaneously with the imaam

2. After the imaam (such that he waits for the imaam to complete his right salaam and thereafter does his own right salaam, then waits for the imaam to complete his left salaam and then does his own left salaam)

3. Do the right salaam after the imaam but the left salaam simultaneously with him

Sometimes an imaam has completed his head movement but is still stretching the words of the salaam. If we are to do our salaam after the imaam's, should we do it as soon as he has completed his head movement or should we wait until he has also completed uttering the words?
