Q: I really need to finish my anger issue. I get angry really easily and I'm always physical when angry (meaning I slap or shout at the person Im angry at). Q: My question is that we believe that there are five Faraaiz in Islam (Kalimah, Namaaz, Roza, Zakaat and Hajj). Then how we categorize that there are different faraaiz in every Islamic aspect like Wudhu Faraaiz, Ghusal Faraaiz, Hajj Faraaiz, Namaaz Faraaiz etc. What is difference in five main faraaiz and then the faraaiz in different Islamic acts. So can we say that there are not total 5 faraaiz but a lot of faraaiz in Islam?
Q: I would like to fast and try and see how far I can make it. The problem is that when I tried fasting last year, the medications I take for epilepsy are much stronger without food so I end up waking up after 11 or 12 noon most of the time and then don't have much energy for tilawat, zikr, etc.
Should I give fidya and put my tilawat, zikr, duaa, etc. first or fast? For me it's a matter of nafl or fardh, which is more important, the fast or the ibaadah and tilawat?
Q: I have taken over a running business in January of this year (2021). I am owing on this business for the next three years. With regards to zakaat, do I commence paying immediately or after 1 lunar year?
Also, for the merchandise on hand, when calculating zakaat do I use the cost price or the selling price of the goods?
Q: Can Mufti Saheb please explain how come stunning of animals before slaughter is not permissible. I only eat the meat of unstunned animals and my family members are saying that they have never heard of this and I'm making up my own rules and all these years everyone has been eating meat certified by Sanha.
I was also told that by stunning of all animals, is torture to the animal, can result in death, which is hard to ascertain at the time of slaughter, as the animal is already unconscious due to stunning, and that it also prevents the animal from kicking and the heart pumping out all the najis blood that makes it halaal, as the Islamic way of slaughter (as one has to cut the jugular and 2/3 arteries in order for all the najis blood to flow out) and that stunning of livestock (cows, sheep etc.) is reversible. In this case won't the meat of the animal that is stunned be carrion and haraam in any case?
Q: If you get your period (haidh) during the latter part of the day (e.g. an hour before maghrib), does your fast break and is qadha necessary or is the fast accepted?
