Having a good opinion of Allah Ta‘ala and hoping in His mercy

Q: I am feeling very despondent and like my yakeen and hope in Allah's help is at an all time low even though my amaal and ibaadat is at an all time high.

I am doing different dhikrs for ease, for barakah in wealth, in getting good proposals for my daughters. I have been consistent with Tahajjud, dhikr, Quran, dua and also sitting in the company of the Ulama, attending dhikr programmes but it feels like my duas are not getting fulfilled, difficulties keep coming and I am beginning to question my imaan and this is making me extremely afraid that Allah is angry with me.

Please advise on how to overcome this.

Gifting the house to one's son in one's lifetime

Q: I purchased a house and, during my lifetime, gifted it to my son. I completed the gift (Hibah), and full possession and ownership of the property were transferred to my son, with the property registered in his name.

My question is: After my death, will this house still be considered part of my estate tarikah) and subject to Islamic inheritance laws, or will it remain my son's sole property since I gifted it to him during my lifetime?

FPC rennet

Q: What's the masla about FPC rennet?

The calf gene responsible for chymosin and pepsin production is inserted into a host (fungi). As the genes multiply they produce more chymosin and pepsin. The liquid is then strained to remove the DNA and leave the rennet.

Voting in a democratic election

Q: Can mufti saheb provide guidance on the following two questions regarding taking part in democratic elections:

1. Is voting in a democratic election regarded as a religious obligation (such as Amr bil Ma'ruf wa Nahy anil Munkar), and is it correct to cite Surah Ali imran (3:110) as a proof for the permissibility or necessity of voting?

2. From a Fiqhi perspective, is a vote regarded as a form of shahadah (testimony) where the voter bears witness before Allah Ta'ala regarding the candidate's character and eligibility of leadership?
