Q: My oldest sister is planning to marry a non-Muslim guy in a church in front of a priest. She is aware that she is going against Islam and says she is following her heart and mind. If this makes her a disbeliever, what is my relationship with my sister after she commences with this marriage? My parents are not in favour and have no say in this, what according to Islam are we supposed to do?
Q: My youngest brother (on many occasions in the past) disobeyed and disrespected my parents because of a girl he wishes to marry. It has gone to the extent that he has packed up his things and left home. He is now planning to marry this girl. We have been told to just let him be. In the process my parents have became very ill and decided to leave their residential home to not be present when the wedding takes place. After he marries this girl, what is our role (according to Islam) in terms of our relationship with him and his wife?
Q: I have been a resident in a foreign country for about 10 years. 2 years ago I met a woman who is completely feminine in nature. As time passed our relationship grew stronger. I wanted her to marry me and convert to Islam. She showed interest in doing so but the real problem is that she was born male by gender, and at the age of 21 she had her gender change operation and removed all the male sexual organs with female body parts. Now she is a women in all ways. There is no going back for her. She is supposed to be a women for the rest of her life. My question is, is there a possibility that a Muslim can still marry her given her circumstances , otherwise we know that to have gay/sexual relations with a man is a despicable sin. Please suggest me what to do.
Q: My mother before she passed away did not clarify the money she gave to save my brother's house from being repossed as a gift or a loan, what happens? Does the money go into the estate because there was no confirmation what ther intention was when she gave him the money?
