Recipients of Zakaat

Q: Can Zakaat be given to Muslim children but parents are Non Muslims?

Q: A baby (8 months) has been in hospital since birth. The child has many health complications. The hospital bill has reached an all time high and the parents as well as family members are unable to pay the bills. 

The family are not Zakaatable. What is the fatwa with regards to starting a Go fund me page for this child?

Q: If there is a person that is in a personal debt of 1 million & his car is also in a debt, income is not meeting expenses & to repay the debt is difficult. His sons online homeschooling has a bursary foundation, can he accept the school fees if its zakaat to reduce the expense & pay towards the debt.

Q: My husband is in alot of debt. He is unemployed and our monthly expenses are being taken care of by my father in law. 

I have some jewellery that I pay zakaat on every year. Am I allowed to give my husband my zakaat to pay of his debts ?

Q: In the case of this war and crisis in Palestine, if a person wants to give Zakaat in a place like Gaza, will it still be necessary for the person to check if the recipient of the Zakaat is a Muslim or a person can give the Zakaat to anyone in need? Please advise.

Q: Some organizations take Zakaat money and use it to pay admin fees and madrasah fees. Is this allowed?

Q: A man adopted a boy and a girl. Can this man give this boy and girl zakaat money?

Q: Can a student intending to study actuarial science be assisted with zakaat money?

Q: Can zakaah money be used to buy stationary, toys etc. and be given to people who can receive zakaah, for their children?
