Q: What is the ruling on tattoos? Can a person get tattoos? I have heard that it is permissible while some say it is not. Also I want to know what should a person do if he had tattoos before he was a Muslim or if he was a Muslim but ignorant of the fact? Is there any punishment and can they offer prayer with tattoos? Can a person with tattoo perform hajj or umrah? Also should a person get his tattoo removed or not because some of my friends told me that a person is not Muslim if he has tattoos he should remove it? But what if the person can't afford to do so or if the method of removing tattoos is painful?

Q: Is it permissible to wear a turban without a tail like how the turkisih Imams wear it? If yes, will it be regarded as a Sunnah?

Q: In the Hadith a command is given to lengthen the beard and trim the moustache. I know that it is waajib to lengthen the beard, but what about the moustache? Is shortening the moustache also waajib? If not, then people argue and say that if you say that lengthening the beard is waajib, then trimming the moustache should also be waajib because they in the same Hadith.

Q: Can a woman hot wax/cold wax her hands and face hairs?

Q: Is the turban style headgear/covering which women adorn nowadays permissible?

Q: What is the purpose and reward for wearing the trousers above the ankles and keeping a beard?

Q: I have a question regarding removing hair on women's body (legs and arms). Is it allowed in Islam?

Q: If a ladies hair is below her navel reaching the knees almost, and the bottom of her hair is dead and has something like split ends, can she trim 3cm or less? In which other circumstance can a women trim hair?

Q: Is is permissible for a man to have  mehndi on his hands. Please give reference from Quran and Ahaadith.

Q: Almost all the shampoos have sodium laureth sulfate. I have read a few articles, they say it is haraam to use laureth sulfate. What should I do? Is it really haraam? If yes, then there are no available smapoo which does not have laureth sulfate in it in my area. Also tell me the reason why it is haram?
