Q: Is there any position one should not sit in during the kutbah?

Q: I want to ask that is jumu'ahh namaaz fard or wajib and with it a proper proof or daleel of jumah namaaz being fard or wajib? I also want the proof to be authorised.

Q: I do kutbah on Friday in a masjid. In the second kutbah I read "Was Sultaanu zillullaah man ahana sultaanalllah ahana hulla" should I leave this out or read this? Some people say you should not read because in our times kings are zaalims.

Q: Some people after the first kutbah has finished lift there hands up and make dua, is this correct or it should be done in the heart?

Q: How many sunnah should be performed after Jumuah salaah? I read in a Hadith that 2 rakaats should be performed, but we normally read 6 rakaats.

Q: Is it a requirement for the khateeb to perform the Jumu'ah Salaah as well, or can anyone perform the Salaah?

Q: I work at a place where I am not allowed to perform Jumuah because they need me at work. I have missed a month's worth of Jumuah. I need the money as I have a lot of debts, immediate and long-term, that I need to pay off. It's difficult to find a job in this country (New Zealand), and I need some advice. What should I do?

Q: Is it permissible for a Muslim business owner to keep his business open during Jumu’ah or any other salaah time while he attends the musjid, but has a non-Muslim manager keeping the business open during this time?

Q: Is there a sunnah or recommended method of ascending the mimbar? Because I see some people ascend each step with their right foot and then turn around on the last step, while others walk up with both left and right feet, and still others walk up backwards. So has the `ulama mentioned anything in this regard?

Q: The jumuah khutbah was given half in Arabic and half in the vernacular. Should the jumuah salaah be repeated?
