Q: Today, my Moulana told us that if we did not read the full 12 rakaats of Zuhr Salaah, then we should go and read it. I had only read the 4 fardh and I was rushing a lot. We were writing our Jamiatul Ulama exams so I thought that if I go to read the sunnats, then I will have less time to write the paper, so I lied to my Ustaad and did not go to read the sunnats. Now I am feeling bad for deceiving and lying to my Ustaad. Will I be sinful if I leave out performing the sunnats?
Q: A person who skips 3 Jummuah salaahs with jamaat is considered a kaafir. If because of the current pandemic, a person refuses to go to the masjid for Jummuah salaah for months. Is that person considered a kaafir?
Q: Is it permissible to send Jummah Mubaarak messages as I have read the fatwa of Mufti Taqi Usmani that it is not good to send such messages as the later generations will think it as Sunnah which will be a bidat. And also any other messages like Eid Mubaarak and Fajr messages.

1. I know that when one misses the Jumuah Salaah one has to pray Zuhur Salaah individually, not in Jamaah.
a. What about those in the villages that do not qualify for Jumuah Salaah, are they to perform Zuhur in Jamaah or individually?
b. A group of travellers, are they to perform Zuhur Salaah in Jamaah or individually since Jumuah Salaah is not Fardh upon them?

1. During these times of corona restrictions, where Muslims are not allowed attend Masaajid, can they also perform Zuhur Salaah in Jamaah on Fridays?
2. Can Jumuah Salaah be performed at homes during these corona restrictions period?

Q: In the country where I live, many masaajid have been closed to the public and people are not allowed to perform salaah in the masaajid. Hence, in such a situation, can jumuah salaah be performed in people’s homes? If it is permissible, then apart from the two khutbahs that have to be recited before the salaah, what are the other important conditions required for the jumuah salaah to be valid?
