Q: Is it permissible for one person to give the Jumu'ah khutba and another person to perform the Jumu'ah Salaah?
Q: Is it permissible for one person to give the Jumu'ah khutba and another person to perform the Jumu'ah Salaah?
Q: Is it permissible to perform multiple Friday (Jummah) Jamaats/congregation due to lack of space here in West? The masjids are far away and are small so cannot hold many people, due to which they perform multiple jamaats, so is it permissible? Also please tell us what if the same Imam who performed the first jamaat also performs the second Jamaat as well? Would the second prayer be valid? Please tell us about praying Friday in a masjid where the Khutbah is given in English instead of Arabic? I cannot find any masjid in our area where they give the khutbah in Arabic? Will the prayer be valid?
Q: In Pakistan I don't know why there is a bad cultural heritage that there is no separate place for women to pray in the Musjid. That's why women don't attend Jumuah prayer. That is really sad but In Karachi I haven't seen a Musjid in which women pray Jummah. So in this circumstances can women pray zuhr instead of jumuah at home?
Q: I'm stuck in a weird situation. I am studying in Birmingham city university. Alhamdulillah we have been told by our elders not to criticise people from different school of thoughts than yours. I follow Deoband school and go in tabligh jamat very often. In my university saalfi brothers are trying to take over, like they made the Islamic society majorly run by them. Problem is'nt that but the problem is that for Friday jumma from last 12 years an Imam has been coming. They asked him to not come and they (students) have started to lead the jumma. They do the juma kutba which is after second azan in both English and Arabic, like they start in Arabic a bit and mostly start speaking in English. My fist question is that is khutba like this valid, secondly I've seen them doing maasa on normal socks not the leather ones and they lead the prayer is that acceptable.
Q: I am required to travel to work over 150 km a day monday to friday for two months. I have no intention of staying at that location. Am I considered a musaafir and what is the ruling for jummah. The masjids are extremely far from work approximatly 35km as I am based at a construction site. If I am a musaafir, is it incorrect to read the full salaah?
Q: Is jumuah namaz waajib or fardh?
Q: I wanted to ask regarding a woman having a bath on Friday but not attending the Jumuah Salaah. As far as I know the Friday bath is mustahab for those attending Jumuah Salaah only, but it's commonly thought that women who pray at home should still have a bath on Fridays as it is regarded as a Sunnah. Is this true? Please could you let me know the exact ruling for women.
Q: I am facing a difficult situation at work where my employer won't give me off for Jumuah Salaah. To make it for Jumuah, I sometimes switch my shift or lunches and sometimes take off. What can I do to remedy this? It is affecting me emotionally and spirituality.
Q: My daughter and her family have gone to Australia one year ago. Since then my son in-law is struggling for a job but till last month he did not get regular jobs but he was doing odd jobs. Last month he got a regular job in a good company. Now the problem is that the management did not give him permission to offer Friday prayer in the Musjid, but other prayers he performed in the company's premises. Now he wants to quit the job for this particular reason. Is this decision ok or he can pray zuhr prayer in place of Friday prayer and continue the job. Please me remember that in Australia getting jobs in very difficult particularly for Muslims.
