Q: I am getting married in 2 months from now and I am told by my sister that the bride after rukhsati should be accompanied by an old lady from her side. This old lady will accompany the bride to the toilets as this prevents evil spirits attacking the bride. Could you please let me know if this is advisable in the light of Sunnah and Hadith?
Q: If someone's name is Abdullah, will it be permissible to throw a paper containing his name (e.g. a doctor's appointment) in the rubbish bin or will it be disrespectful to the name of Allah Ta'ala? Is the ruling the same whether his name is written in English or Arabic (عبد الله)?
Q:
1. We have a Shaikh in our area who, when he enters or leaves the Masjid, the Mureeds stand up for him presumably out of respect. Those that are not mureeds feel uncomfortable because they feel obliged to also stand up when Hadhrat walks in. Is this standing up when Hadhrat comes in and, in particular, when he leaves, substantiated in Shariah?
2. A mureed of this Shaykh mentioned that Hadhrat knows what we are talking about because he is divinely informed. Is this a valid statement?
3. A lay person accidentally sat in Hadhrat's chair. He was told to get off it by a mureed because it is Hadhrat's chair. Was it correct of the mureed to
do this?
Q: On the night of me'raj did Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) see Allah Ta'ala with his eye?
Q: Do we really need to follow a Mazhab? If yes why didn't the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) or his companions not do so? My friends confused me with this points because I know that we cannot add anything to Islam unless it's told or practised by the prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
Q: It it the belief of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamah that Allah knows all what has happened, all that is happening, and all what will happen - it does not
befit His Majesty to not know. So could you kindly explain the meaning of this Hadith which the guest Mawlana mentioned in a Jumuah bayan but did not elaborate upon and which caused some confusion: "Nothing can change the Divine decree except du'aa".
Q: Someone said this: "anyone who says that they believe and ascribe to the fundamental beliefs of the Shia is a kaafir" and also: "Anyone who believes in the fundamental beliefs of the Shias is a kaafir." Is there anything wrong with these statements, are they correct?
Q: Is it wrong for a wife to go home on Tuesdays and Satardays as we know the jins are spread everywhere in these days so there is a fear of possessing jins?
Q: Recently my friend and I were walking on the road coming back home. My friend saw a Palmist (hand reading person) and he read his hand and told him his future. My question is can anyone can see in your hands and tell you about your past and future? Is hand reading or palmistry real? Can the line in your hand really tell you about you future? According to Islam is there any way to know about the persons future?
