Woman sitting next to a non-mahram in a car

Q: Is it permissible for a woman to sit next to a non mahram man by sitting in the front seat of a car while the non mahram man is sitting in the driver's seat. Or is it forbidden and is it compulsory for the woman to sit in the back seat of the car.
A: She should not sit next to him and she should not be alone with him. Rather, she should sit at the back with another person.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
