Woman sitting in a room with non-mahram family members with her face covered

Q: In a joint family, it permissible for a woman to sit in the room where members of the house, including her brother-in-law, have gathered? Is it permissible if she sits in these sittings with her face covered?

A: No. The brother-in-law is a stranger and she can marry him. Hence they should be seated separately in a different room altogether. Mahram refers to those people who you cannot permanently marry.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
