Q: Incentives offered by car dealers to bank employees for referring bank auto loan customers is Halal or Haram. They offer a specific amount from their own profit and not caused any loss to bank or its customer.

A: Since the bank offers the clients interest bearing loans, it is not permissible for the car dealers to give them gifts or incentives for them referring their clients to them. Through the car dealers giving the banks these gifts, they are aiding and assisting them in the sin of riba.
