Q: Is it permissible to have a two way bet with a friend where no money is involved.
For example, if you lose you wear an outfit of the winners choosing or change your wallpaper that doesn't involve haraam to a wallpaper of their choosing etc.
A: Betting is not permissible in Islam. Hence, any type of involvement in these things, (including the case in question where one is making something binding on the other) is against the Islamic teachings.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
