Q: I'm currently in Madinah and my period started last night (Friday). My period lasts for 10 ten days. That has always been my habit. We leave for Makkah on Sunday insha-Allah. Do I enter into my ihraam and perform my umrah when we reach Makkah and pay my dum, or do I not enter ihraam on Sunday and delay my umrah till before we leave for home?
A: Enter into ihraam and delay the umrah until you become paak. If you do this then you will not need to pay any dum.
