Company charging staff for damaged goods

Q: A company charges staff for goods damaged by staff. It is either damaged by mistake or due to negligence. Staff are required to pay the full retail value of the item. The staff cannot take the item away. It is either sold off at a reduced value to another person. In some cases where the company can, they return the item to the supplier for a credit.

What is the shar'ee ruling in this regard?

Q: What are some reasons behind someone feeling jealous so easily? And how can one change their mind to gratitude and self-satisfaction?

If someone continously feels jealousy unintentionally when they are trying to remove it repeatedly, and they still feel heart hardening, is this still jealousy? I feel it severely maybe because of arrogance or wanting praise and recognition.

Q: My dad is late (may the Almighty grant him jannat). He has left behind 2 sons and 2 daughters. The eldest son lives with his father in law.

After mummy's iddat, it was her desire to perform umrah and her second son took her Alhamdulillah. The elder son wants to take my mother, his wife and his father in law, who is also a widower, for umrah. Will it be permissable for my mother to travel like this in the company of his father in law?
