Pleasing one's parents

Q: A man wants to name his child Luqmaan, however his parents have requested that the childs name be changed to Talha. I fully understand the status of parents in one's life, however will it be permissible for the man to name his son Luqmaan even without his parents approval?

Wigs and hair extensions

Q: According to one of your answers on this site about wigs and hair extensions, you said it is permissible to wear provided the hair is synthetic (not made from human hair), but I came across these hadiths regarding this that I want you to elaborate on please:‎

Asmaa' bint Abi Bakr said: "A woman came to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a daughter who is going to be married; she had a fever and lost much of her hair - can I give attach false hair to her head?' He said: 'Allah has cursed the one who attaches false hair and the one who has this done.'"(Reported by Muslim, 3/1676).

Jaabir ibn 'Abdullaah said: "The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) issued strict instructions that no woman should add anything to her head." (Reported by Muslim, 3/1679).

Please kindly give proof from your own replies and may Allah reward you immensely for this great work.‎

Making a vow to give sadaqah

Q: If a vow was made that for every R100 a person receives he will give R 20 as sadqah to poor people as long as there is no debt owing to anyone.

1.Can he buy gifts with this money and give it to his family, even though the family are well to do?

2. Can he use the money to sponsor items to the musjid or put the money in the musjid box?

3. If the vow is broken once does the person still have to keep to the vow subsequently?

4. If a person can't remember if he made the vow verbally or in his mind, will the vow be valid?
