Q:

1. Some men have a mustache which grows vertically down around the lips and connects with the beard. Is it permissible?

2. Also, did our Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) have a mustache like that?

Q: I have bought a natural body wash and cream product and noticed afterwards that it contains ethanol. Is it permissible to use? If not, should I discard or give it to a non-muslim?

Q: Is it permissible to use henna which, after washed out leaves a black coloured stain instead of red? Is this tashabbuh bil kuffar? (tattoo)

Q: My question is regarding beard transplantation. I’m almost 26, I don’t have a beard on my face, just a little under my chin. I have desire to grow a beard and In Sha Allah grow a healthy beard according to the sunnah in the next few years. Is it allowed to go for a beard transplantation or use any beard growing oil on face? Will it be against the creation of Allah?

1. Where do the eyebrows start and end?

2. Where does the moustache start and end?

Q: Is it true that everyone should abstain from cutting nails and hair during first 10 days of Zul Hijjah? 

Q: Is it necessary for women with excess facial hair to not remove them in the first ten days of zul hijjah until their qurbani has taken place?

Q: Is it haraam for a teenage boy to wear the fake crocodile tooth necklace made from wood, string and a really small piece of metal?

Q: I have a question regarding hairstyles of women.

1. What hairstyles does the shariah command us to make and what type of hairstyles to abstain from?

2. Is it compulsory for women to style their hair in such a way that the hair falls through the sides and the mid line of the scalp is seen?

3. Is their any punishment for not keeping the mid line of the front scalp shown?

Q: I am a woman and I bought black ankle socks in the men's section (the women's section in that shop did not have my size). Am I allowed to wear those socks? Or do I have to buy it from the women's section.
