Q: Is it permissible to cut one's hair two different lengths?

Q: Please could you advise with regard to certain pertinent masaail relating to removing unwanted pubic and armpit hair.

1. From which point should one remove one's pubic hair? From the navel or from the pubic hairline?

2. Should one remove the scrotal hair?

3. Should one remove the hair between the scrotum and back passage?

4. Should one remove the hair around the back passage?

5. Also, what is the maximum period that a person can go without removing unwanted hair and is it a sin to go beyond this period?

6. Is it compulsory for a woman to shave the armpits and pubic hair regularly?

7. Can women use hair removing creams or lotions instead of scissors, razors or some other sharp things since they are risky in handling?

8. Is it essential in Islam to shave the hair under the arms?

1. What is the Shar'ee ruling regarding hair dye? Is it permissible to use?

2. What colours of dye should one use and which colours should one avoid using?

3. Is there any difference in the ruling between men and women?

4. Is it permissible to use hair dye which is non-porous and prevents the water from touching the hair? If one used such dye, will one's wudhu and ghusal be complete?

5. I heard that applying mehndi is a Sunnah. Can a person dye his beard or hair with mehndi and will one receive the reward of the Sunnah if one applies it?

Q: Is it permissible for a woman in her menses to remove her facial hair?

Q: Is it permissible for women in menses to remove hair from their faces and legs?

Q: Can a man wear skin tight trousers under his soccer shorts which are above the knees?

Q: If a wife asks her husband to remove hairs from his legs, chest etc. Is it permissible for a man to do that?

1. Can Muslim men wear pants and shirts if the pants is not so tight fitting?

2. Can Muslim men wear jeans pants if it not very tight fitting?

3. Can men leave their pants below the ankles when going to office? Provided he doesn't have pride in doing so. And when he goes for mosque for namaz he folds his pants above the ankles. Just when going for job he doesn't fold it because it look awkward in the office when the pants is folded from below.

4. Is it permissible to wear safari suit for Muslim men in some formal occasions in the work place as well as in the wedding?
