Q: What is ruling of eating food items in which we have some doubt whether it contains halaal ingredients or not like Maggi noodles, etc?

Q: When is it Sunnah to drink water; immediately after food or half an hour or so after meals?

Q: Is it prohobited in Islam to slurp drinks and certain foods?

Q: Can one consume imported food products that have been declared Halaal in their country of origin - by the Ulama of that respective country? Many jelly sweets are available on the market. Such sweets are often produced in Indonesia, Malaysia or Turkey. A fair number of products from these countries have the word ‘Halaal’ written on the  packaging in Arabic. No logo nor name of the Halaal authorizing bodies in the respective country are mentioned.

Q: Is it a sunnah to have salt before and after eating? And is it a sunnah to have sweet things before and after eating? If it is sunnah, what type of sunnah is it?

Q: I'd like to know if it is permissible to eat in utensils made out of "bone china"?

1. Shellac

2. Calf Rennet (derived from non-Halaal slaughtered calves)

Q: Are drinks which contain ethanol halaal?

Q: Is it permissible to eat in a restaurant where alcohol is served or allowed? Will the same rule apply to a supermarket or aeroplane that sells alcohol?
