Q: What is the ruling on tattoos? Can a person get tattoos? I have heard that it is permissible while some say it is not. Also I want to know what should a person do if he had tattoos before he was a Muslim or if he was a Muslim but ignorant of the fact? Is there any punishment and can they offer prayer with tattoos? Can a person with tattoo perform hajj or umrah? Also should a person get his tattoo removed or not because some of my friends told me that a person is not Muslim if he has tattoos he should remove it? But what if the person can't afford to do so or if the method of removing tattoos is painful?
Shampoos which contain sodium laureth sulfate
Q: Almost all the shampoos have sodium laureth sulfate. I have read a few articles, they say it is haraam to use laureth sulfate. What should I do? Is it really haraam? If yes, then there are no available smapoo which does not have laureth sulfate in it in my area. Also tell me the reason why it is haram?

Q: I want to know if it is compulsory for Muslim girls/women to wear bangles. I have relatives who say that if a girl/woman does not wear bangles, then even water from her hand is makruh. I have read many articles on this issue but I want a reference either from the Qur'an or Hadith so that I can be clear.

On which finger should a woman wear a ring?

1. I have heard that men should wear their ring on the baby finger. Does this law also apply to women, or are women allowed to wear it on other fingers as well?
