Q: We have now six members in the family because I got married. Is it necessary that all the males should eat together and all the female should sit together and eat?

Q: Can you please advise if a female is allowed to give quraan imtihaan to a Moulana from behind a veil. Generally we have Moulana's taking imtihaan in our maktab madrasahs and to accommodate the girl students who have reached the age of puberty we provide a place where they can sit and be tested on their Quraan from behind a curtain. However the Moulana's cannot see the girls at all but only listen to them reading the Quraan. Is this permissible?

Q: As a mother is it permissible for me to expose my satar to my daughter who is seven years of age? - (when changing clothes etc ) If it is permissible what is Afzal in this regard?

Q: May a woman go to a male doctor for eye laser surgery (to correct her eye sight)? There are no female doctors available to do the operation.

Q: It is obviously haraam to violate the hijab, in terms of both, appearance and attitude and actions. I know for example, speaking about private things to the opposite gender is haraam. What if one shakes the hand of the opposite gender whom he/she is completely un-attracted to? Is there still sin in this?
