Q: Is it permissible to write a poem for a person who dies? A scholar died recently and poems are published to remember and grieve for the loss. Is it allowed to do such things in Islam.

Q: If one does not pay traffic fines and passes on, does it fall under a debt on the deceased?

1. What are the differences, if any, between the ghusl of mayyit of the Hanafis and Shafee'is?

Q: What does Islam say about taking pictures of someone who has passed away. For example, if someone has passed away in another country and the family can't attend the funeral, is it permissible to take pictures of the person who has passed away and/or the funeral to share with only the family of the deceased? 

Q: People of barelevi maslak who ask their needs to the graves of dead people, are they Muslim? Is this not quit similar to hindu faith or faith of mushrikeen e Makkah because as mentioned in Saheeh Muslim they also believed in one Allah.

Q:

1. I want to ask about the obligatory charity (zakat). There are some things which I want to know about rules of zakat. First of all I want to know rules about paying zakat on inherited wealth. My father died and the money in his account was given to me after 7 months. My father died in 8th month of Islamic calender. He used to give zakat in Ramadan. Maybe the time was complete for giving zakat ( i do not know for sure) but he died before that. So the question is that was I supposed to pay on his behalf or not. If not then when should i pay zakat. Should I calculate day from that one on which he died or the one which i received money from bank 7 months later.

2. Also the money in bank is of two kinds. One is that which me and my father saved. The other is not ours. It is security deposit of the shop keeper and the person who lives at rent in our house. Some of the shop keepers have been here for 20 or 25 years. So am I supposed to pay zakat including the deposit or just the one we saved.

Q: With the escalation in the use of social media, we find that people often put up status messages or post pictures with a message addressing a deceased person. For example, a person would post "We miss You, Dad" or "last year this time You were with us" etc. Is this permissible in Islam?
