Q: When making wudhu, is it fardh to make masah of any quarter of the head or does it particularly have to be the front of the head?
The reason for enquiring is that if it's fardh to make masah of any quarter, then a woman in pardah will be able to make masah of her head without removing her scarf while traveling.
Q: My wife is suffering from a serious disorder about purity. This is all due to urine.
If a child has urinated on a sofa and if someone sits there after its dried without being cleaned, will the other person be impure? Does he/she have to change their clothes?
If he/she sits somewhere else with those same clothes, would that place also be impure?
My wofe is really not well because of this and she’s always washing things, beds, clothes. etc.
Q: If a person does not perform a complete wudhu, will his wudhu be valid? If a person performs salaah with such a wudhu, what will be the condition of the salaah?
Q:
1. Is it a sin to look at one's faeces after having relieved oneself?
2. Is it permissible to look at faeces in the toilet if one suffers from piles and is looking for signs of bleeding, etc?
3. Is it true that if one looks at stool after defaecating, it can make a person lose their memory?
Q:
1. I suffer from eczema and psoriasis. At times when the skin itches and I scratch it or peel away the scales, then my skin bleeds a little. Thereafter, a thin sticky colourless liquid emerges from the skin. If I make wudhu after this but the liquid is still coming out, is my wudhu valid?
2. If my whudu is not valid, then what should I do if I have to read salaah? At times the condition occurs in areas where it isn't possible to stop the liquid flow with a plaster.
Q: What should one do when one has done an action (e.g. ghusl or wudhu) and he is 90% or more certain that the act was done but 10 hours later one begins to doubt.
Q: I use khuffain regularly in winter and I usually always remove it before 24 hours are up before using them again.
Recently I forgot exactly when my wudhu broke after I put the khuffain on. Since I made wudhu and put the socks on after Asr, it was perhaps after I read my Asr Salaah that my wudhu may have broken. I made masah on them thereafter till the next day. The next day I forgot to take out the khuffain, I made wudhu with masah on them to read Maghrib. My wudhu broke after this so I again made wudhu with masah on the khuff preparing to read Esha. I realised my error, but it was too late for me to make full wudhu to read Maghrib again. So I simply washed my feet, put the khuff on again and read Maghrib again just as Esha time set in.
1. Will my Maghrib Salaah be valid or do I have to repeat it?
2. I read Quraan in this time with that wudhu. Would I have been sinful? Should I read those surahs again (Yaseen, Sajdah)?
Q: If water is available but a person is sick, will it be permissible for him to make tayammum?
Q: If you wear a garment for a short amount of time whilst you have your haidh, is the garment considered impure? No impurity has soiled the garment. You'd like to wear it again in a few days time, when you're are in a clean state, is that okay?
