Q: In the first ten days of Zil Hijjah we are advised not to cut our hair and nails etc If we are making qurbaani. Is this a masnoon practice of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)?
Q: A person did not make a waajib Qurbani one year thinking that he did not own the amount of nisaab. He instead made a nafl qurbaani. After some years he realised that he had wealth put away which would have made qurbaani waajib on him. What does he do? Will the nafl qurbaani be counted for that years waajib qurbaani?

Q: A son makes qurbani for his mother living abroad. That night he phones his mother and informs her that he has made quarbani for her. The mother is delighted, expresses gratitude and thanks the son profusely. Is the qurbani valid or was it necessary to have first obtained the mother’s prior consent?
