Q: What is the ruling of making Qurbaani if one has many debts yet has jewellery?

Q: In the first ten days of Zil Hijjah we are advised not to cut our hair and nails etc If we are making qurbaani. Is this a masnoon practice of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)?

Q: A person did not make a waajib Qurbani one year thinking that he did not own the amount of nisaab. He instead made a nafl qurbaani. After some years he realised that he had wealth put away which would have made qurbaani waajib on him. What does he do? Will the nafl qurbaani be counted for that years waajib qurbaani?

Q: I know that max 7 people can share in one cow and i heard that each person must take a full share like 1,2,3,4,5,6 or 7 shares. Now my question is, can two people purchase a cow with equal shares (3 and a half shares each) or they must purchase 3 shares and 4 shares respectively?

Q: If one goes for Haj and he does his qurbani there again is it necessary to offer qurbani on behalf of him at his home country or not? Please clarify.

Q: A son makes qurbani for his mother living abroad. That night he phones his mother and informs her that he has made quarbani for her. The mother is delighted, expresses gratitude and thanks the son profusely. Is the qurbani valid or was it necessary to have first obtained the mother’s prior consent?

Q: How many qurbani should we do? Is it 1 per family or each per family or is there other options? Please give reference.
