Q: What can one do to control his anger, cool his temper and prevent anger breakouts, and how does one get rid of any grudges or frustration one feels for another person?
Q: As I understand, after the burial of the deceased, it is Sunnah to recite the beginning verses of Surah Baqarah at the head side and the last verses of Surah Baqarah at the feet side. Additionally, a dua is typically recited. In our practice, we first recite Surah Fatiha, followed by the beginning verses of Surah Baqarah at the head side, and the last verses of Surah Baqarah at the feet side, which are recited loudly so that everyone can hear. My questions are as follows:
Is it permissible to start with Surah Fatiha? In the narrations, only Surah Baqarah is mentioned, and not Surah Fatiha.
To what extent is it permissible to recite these verses loudly?
Afterward, a dua is made facing the Qibla. This dua is a collective, loud dua where the Imam makes the dua aloud and everyone responds with "Ameen."
My questions regarding this are: Should the dua not be made individually? To what extent is it permissible to make a collective dua after the burial?
Q: During tawaf on the first floor there are times where construction barriers are blocking off certain areas. It is such that we have to walk diagonally where our shoulder moves away from the Kaabah and it seems like our back is facing the Kaabah (but we can't be certain because we can't see the Kaabah from the first floor). It happens few times during tawaaf. What should we do in this situation?
Q: Is this genuine that for nikaah, first the father and mother of the boy should go and see the bride followed by the sister/sisters and then the boy should go and see the girl for nikaah. This seems as the different rounds of selection.
Q: After urinating, when rinsing the private area with the hand shower, the pressure of water is satisfying sometimes. I get really aroused. Is this counted as masturbation? Do I have to perform a ghusl?
Q: I stole something which costs around 860 rupees MRP and I want to give the money to the owner 700 rupees but I don't know the owner.
My question is, can I give this money to a poor non Muslim person or to my relatives who are in small debt?
Q: I was recently diagnosed with OCD, which results in me having a lot of doubts about things. However, I’ve been working on getting better Alhamdulillah. I just had a quick question regarding what to do in the following ghusl/wudhu scenarios:
(1) In Wudhu, when I wash my face, water also rolls down my arms and also splashes or falls off my face onto my arms. Then when I go to pour water on my arm, I’m not sure which part of my arm is wet with the fresh water or wet with the water that rolled/splashed off my face onto my arm. What to do in this scenario?
(2) In Ghusl, I often doubt whether water has reached the skin under my beard. I have a beard wash soap, which I usually rub fully into my beard then wash the soap away while rubbing my beard with my hands. Once the soap has been rubbed and washed away from the beard, can I assume that the skin underneath the beard has also been washed?
(3) In Wudhu I try to just wash 3 times and move on. However sometimes I forget whether I have washed 2 or 3 times. What do in this scenario?
Q: I used to talk to a girl online. She ended everything with me, and I was quite hurt by that. I didn't feel like doing anything. During this time, I developed a healthy bond with Allah (Alhamdulillah). I still like her. I pray to Allah for her.
Firstly, please tell me if it would be appropriate for me to like her in this scenario? And can I pray to Allah for her? My intentions are completely pure, with the sole aim of marriage, and my resolve is firm. Indeed, Allah knows the best of intentions.
Can I ask her through chat if she would marry me or not? Actually, she is angry with me over something, and if I ask her parents without talking to her first, she will obviously refuse. Can I, while avoiding immoralities and staying within boundaries, try to convince her through chat, considering that there is no concern of seclusion or privacy in this case? For sure, after this, I won’t maintain any contact with her.
I have a strong desire for this with all pure and clear intentions. I want to convince her on my own. But if I can’t, should I tell my sister to speak to her on my behalf?
Apart from this, I have created an Instagram account with the aim of spreading knowledge about religion and inviting others to Islam. I want her to come towards Allah as well. So, can I invite her for this purpose and share Islamic content with her?
**Being very honest, you may find this strange, but I am grateful to Allah for His help and for connecting me with Him. My intentions are completely pure, and I truly want this. Can I do this while staying within the limits and etiquettes of Islam? Please guide me well and also give me your advice on what I should do.
Q: At asr time, one went to toilet and noticed a change of colour in ones discharge however one was unsure whether it was haidh or not. At maghrib time, after breaking the fast; before performing maghrib salaah; one saw that ones haidh had commenced.
Will this fast be valid or will one have to repeat it?
