Forcing the purchaser to purchase the item after giving him a refund and cancelling the sale

Q: I made an online purchase from China. The seller said that he will refund me if the product did not arrive within six weeks. After six weeks, the item did not arrive so he refunded me. However, the item then arrived after three months. I contacted the seller and informed him that it has arrived, but since I no longer require it, he must arrange collection for it. The seller said that it would be too expensive, so he is insisting that I must pay him for it. What should I do? If the seller doesn’t arrange collection then what should I do with the item?

Sitting and drinking

Q: With regards to sitting whilst eating or drinking, does this only apply to full meals, or even when one is drinking a few sips of water or fruit etc. I was in the habit of always sitting even if drinking a little bit of water, but someone told me that I don't need to sit because it's not a meal. Please clarify.

Wearing a shawl

Q: I see many Qaris and imaams wearing a shawl over their shoulders and some use the Saudi scarf and put it over their shoulders. I wanted to ask if this is part of the Sunnah dressing of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and why do they wear this shawl / scarf?

Referring to an experienced and righteous Shaikh

Q: On this website a person asked if it is permissible to read Shaykh ibn Arabi's Hizbul Wiqayah -ad Dowr al A'la and the reply was that the works of the shaykh should not be read, even though the questioner sent a link to the work in question which is very much similar to the Hizbul Bahr which many of our Deobandi Ulama read. The work is actually a simple beautiful dua/wazifa/wird of 33 verses each one containing two names of Allah, a dua and a quranic ayat. What is wrong in this? At least the work should have been looked at before giving the fatwa. Please revise your answer as people will be deprived of this very beneficial work. This work is not at all like the other works of Shaykh ibn Arabi that has difficult tassawuf terminologies. It is merely a dua, consisting of Allah's names and quranic ayats.
