Q: We are married since last ten years. After four years my husband fights with me and told me if you call me then you have talaaq from me after that I called him by other person and talked with him after that about one year we fights again about the matter that I have called one relative girl and we discussed very much after that that girl calls my husband and told him that your wife fights with me and my husband come home and told me that you called that girl I said no he told me tell me truth if you don't tell me true then our relationship will break for ever after that we are separate now please tell me what is the way if we want to live together?

Q: My wife and I have a problem. I was arrested as my tenant was dealing in drugs, when the cops came to my place they found a dagga plant on my property and arrested me as well. This happened while my wife was in durban. While I was kept in a holding cell I made contact with a friend who came to my assistance. She when home and secured my house and came back to the station with my ID and proof of residence. This lady lives in durban and was on her way to the airport when i called her. My wife returned to JHB on 5 Jan. i was not given a chance to explain what happened. her parents took her away and said we are separated. On 9 Jan my wife said that she is coming home, however they came with cops to take all her belongings away. I was upset and under high amounts of stress as they took both cars and left me stranded. In the days to follow my wife and i where messaging each other via watsapp. She then made statements that i was a fraudster, drug dealer, that i cheated on her which is not true. This enraged me as i could not believe what was happening, so over watsapp i told her that if thats the person i think i am then theres the first Talaaq (i also spelt it talaat) Since then her parents consulted a maulana and now i get news that we are divorced. I never spoke to any maulana and was not even given a chance to explain anything. I love my wife and I have done everything i could for her. I know that she is hurt due to the events that took place on 2 Jan The tenant got arrested again and i got word from the arrested officer that he will not get bail as he got arrested while he was on bail. I had to appear in court yesterday for my charge. My case was dropped as I called the cops on my tenant. What do I do as I dont believe we are divorced. I love my wife and do not want a divorce.

Q: If the third talaak is issued with a written letter and the name of the masjid is spelt incorrectly - is this still valid?

Q: My question is if a husband and wife argue, then the husband says if you don't look after my kids u go. What does it mean? Is this divorce words or just husband said in anger after he got normal love kids and wife he said if I say something to you in anger, don't take it serious. I didn't mean it because I am suffering depression and anxiety. Please guide me.

Q: My mother is divorced due to 30 years of abuse. My father abuses me and my sisters as well. She is remarried now. My sisters wants to live with my mother as our father hurts us and breaks our souls down and our minds. Is it permissible for us to live with my mother as her husband is a very good man Alhamdulilah?

Q: I have a question regarding talaaq. My husband once said talaaq to me only one talaaq word, while we were having a fight. Is that considered talaq? He has said only one time. I have asked one mufti, he said its not considered talaaq. If you wish to reconcile and forgive each other within the time. So we came back together. But it makes me still feel if we are living halaal life or am I committing a sin. Once before he said once "tum mere tariff se fairgh ho" in way to let go of my life but he didn't mean talaaq. We contacted a mufti, he said to not use these words and it's not talaaq as my husband didn't mean talaaq. He swore by god that he didn't mean talaaq and neither he thought about it (this happened before he said one word of talaq). Please explain.

Q: Last night I was in bed when I was breathing I could hear talaaq. At first I thought it was noting then I did it again again. It was like I was saying the words direct but in a breath and my wife was with me but she was busy reading a book and I did not tell her this. Please help as I have heard until the wife does not hear the words, the divorce is not valid.

Q: My husband told me the day I get into contact with my friend either by message, call or social network, I will automatically get my 3 talaaqs. Days later because I was unsure whether it took place and I wanted to be sure and I said alone in a room but addressing her in my heart "I intended a kinaya divorce. You are free" So what took place now? Kinaya or Sareeh and how many times?
