Q: Is having a fade haircut (2 length haircut) haraam? Some people say its makrooh and some say its haraam.

Q: What is the ruling on men wearing watches that contain silver and/or gold? Is it permissible if the silver or gold does not touch the skin when worn?

Is it permissible if the silver or gold is only on the bezels, hands of the watch, or the logo of the watch?

Q:

1. Can we apply lip balm containing cetearyl alcohol as there is a chance of swallowing the lip balm when the lips are licked. Is is permissible?

2. Creams and lotions containing alcohols such as benzyl, cetyl are applied to the skin. While eating from hands the taste of the cream can be felt. Is it valid and permissible?

Q: Is it permissible for my wife to dress in jeans, heels, and other very provocative western and eastern attire in the boundary of our home? There is no risk of anyone entering upon my wife. This is all for my pleasure, so that I am able to better guard my gaze and be satisfied at home?

Q: Is it israaf (wasting money) to buy expensive clothes if one can afford it?

Q: Is it permissible to wear shoes that have a “won ang” duck on it? A won ang duck is a symbol in Korean culture which is given to a husband and wife and symbolizes unity between that couple. I know partaking in this culture is imitating the kafir, but I was wondering if I could wear shoes that have a little picture of this kind of duck solely for the looks of the shoe. Most people who look at the shoe will not know what it symbolizes. The shoe itself is not apart of the culture, rather a normal shoe anyone can buy.

Q: There is a new technology called SMP (scalp micro pigmentation). Is it halaal?

Q: I sell men's and women's clothes. I sell men's jeans, short pants and t-shirts with different photos. And I also sell women's jeans, short jeans, tops, leggings, blouse, crop top, bodysuit. Is this permissible in Islam to sell? My customers are 99.99% Christian.

Q: My son received a gift of clothing which has a dinosaur picture printed all over it. It was a black shadow picture without features.

Since we don't even know if dinosaurs were real, can he wear it or is it moorath?

If it is moorath, can I sell it and keep the money to use or should I just give it away?
