Good Character

Q: Is it true to say that one should not spread bad news even it is in the public domain and true?

Q: Someone has jealousy issues. She gets jealous to see someone get closer to Allah. She was not doing any good like before, but after seeing that person, she started again. She thinks that she started doing good again because of jealousy. She's envious of other things too. Does it eat up the good works and can it lead to jahannam?

Q: My 18 year old son at times drives me crazy. He always argues and debates. I would like to do my islaah as far as anger is concerned. I have listened and read all the advises and bayaans of the Ulama as far as anger is concerned. But when I am in the situation I forget everything because I am too busy fighting and arguing with him to remember anything. After I have said alot of bad things to him, I regret and feel bad as to how badly I have behaved towards him. How can I reform myself. 

Q: I really need to finish my anger issue. I get angry really easily and I'm always physical when angry (meaning I slap or shout at the person Im angry at). I have tried drinking water, doing ablution saying Aauthubillah mina shaitaan irrajeem but nothing really helped. Please help me how can I deal with this anger. Is there any dua or something?

Q: I want to become Allah's favourite, and I want to have the best character possible. Please advise me what to do.

Q: I need to know Islamically whats the sin for talking bad about a dead woman that you don't even know.

Q: Does backbiting mean its shirk and after judgement we cannot go to paradise even after Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)'s intercession?

If I backbited and do not go to the person because of feeling shy, how can I tell this person? Can we do tauba so that Allah knows that we tried our best not to backbite? Can this be forgiven?.

Q: If I backbited about anyone then another person backbited about that person also, will I get punishment for that also?

If I backbited but if the other person did not backbite but said something that makes me very angry, does delete my backbiting because of making me angry? 

Q: If anyone back bites another person but then the other person done more sin than the person who has back bited, and Allah knows that the person who has back bited has less sin than the other person, will Allah calculate to remove the sin for the person who back bited?
