Q: Can I discharge Zakaat of next year in advance to help my younger brother?

Q: A person who is already eligible for giving zakat, if he is a government servant and he takes loan for house building from government and has to pay installments from his monthly pay for this loan. Is zakat wajib on this house building loan?

1 . If i give zakat to anyone, is it necessary to tell them it is zakat money?

2. Suppose I have to pay zakat Rs 12000, can I give Rs 1000 in each month?

3. One of my friends distributes free rice to the poor, can I give him rice to distribute from the zakat money?

Q: Is it right that i throw meat every day in garden for sadka for birds and they eat every day.

Q: If children, grandchildren are adults who live on their own and do not possess the Zakaah Nisaab, can Zakaah be given to them if the parents are not wealthy but possess the Zakaah nisaab?

Q: Is resizing of rings or other jewellery permissible in Islam? If so, does one have to pay zakat based on the original weight of the jewellery or the new reduced weight?

Q: I earn a salary upto 40,000 rupees per month. Sometimes I save the complete salary and sometimes I give part of my salary (20,000 to 30,000) to my family for their shop. Currently I have 60,000 rupees in the bank and I have been working since last year, is zakaat waajid upon me? If yes, how do I calculate the zakaat?

Q: I am a dialysis patient requiring medication every month for approximately 1 year and if not taken, it can be life threatening. Due to the price of these medications being expensive and way out of my budget, so a Muslim medical organisation offered to pay for the medication but through zakaat funds. My question is that despite being sahib-e-nisab, will it be permissible to accept it in this dire circumstance?
