Q: A certain Aalim said that the intermingling which occurs in public transport and in shopping centres is in the same category as the intermingling which occurs in a high school and university. He said that the Deen allows this level of intermingling as a concession for necessities.

Please comment on this. Is it correct to say that the principles which permit purchasing necessities at a mix gendered shopping mall are in the same category of pursuing secular education at high schools and university?

If Zaid intermingles whilst on public transport to his halaal business everyday, what is the difference with Umar who also intermingles at high school or university everyday? Zaid is pursuing his Rizq directly whilst Umar is learning the skills in order to pursue his Rizq. Are both in the same category? Please may this be explained.

Q: It was the time of my period and I got a peach discharge, it wasn't a dark peach. So I asked my teacher and she said that it is my period. (I don’t get any colour discharge during my tuhur period). so I took it as my period, I never discharged more of this colour, I discharged clear and white. I only started bleeding 3 days after I saw the peach discharge. Please advise whether the 3 days in which I saw nothing was actually my period, or did my period only start when I started bleeding. This happened during Ramadhaan.

Q: I know that kaffaarah fasts have to be kept consecutively, with no break in between. My question is that if a female has to keep kaffaarah fasts, then how will she keep them consecutively, taking into consideration that her haidh will come between the fasts?

Q: Is my mami, maternal uncle's wife a mahram or ghair mahram, whether my mamu is alive or dead?

Q: How is permissible for women to go to the market where men are present but it is not permissible for her to go to a mixed gathering wedding while she is observing hijab and niqaab?

Q: Will a woman be sinful if she wears bangles in the presence of non-mahram men in the home? Because bangles make sounds which attract the attention of men. What is the shariah rule regarding this?

Q: In regards to my menses, I have a 28 day cycle... give or take. If I wipe and find a little change of colour on the toilet paper, I know I'll get my menses a couple of days later. Unfortunately, at the moment I've been having IVF treatments and I just stopped taking hormone replacement tablets and on to taking my injections, however, the nurse told me that my hormone medication and injections will overlap for 3 days and then I'll get my menses.

Now, this is the part I get confused because, the day she said that, which was a Wednesday, I had a few days before I thought I'd get my period, but on that day she said that, I saw a slight colour change on the toilet paper, anyway I still kept on praying because the day she said I get them was not the day I saw it, as I had a couple of more days before and I'm glad I did continue praying, because every other time I wiped it was clear and this happened to me for a couple of days, but yesterday, there were spots of blood on my underwear so, I washed and still prayed Dhur, but I again saw spots on my fresh underwear after changing them and now it was closer to the time when she said I was suppose to get them so, I didn't pray my maghrib, Isha or today's Fajr and now it's clear again and I've missed 3 salats and I'm upset!

What do I do in this situation and how can I make up these salats?

P.S. I feel if I do pray at the moment, I feel like I'm doing the wrong thing and if I don't pray at the moment, I feel like I'm still doing the wrong thing.
