Zikr & Dua

Q:

1. What is khatm-e-khwaajgaan?

2. What are the different methods of doing it?

3. Is khatam of Aayat-e-Kareema also khatme khwaajgaan or a different wazifa?

4. Is it recommended to do this khatam regularly?

Q: I have a friend and his mom asked him, as she is jahil, is it permissible to send darood on Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and he said I don't know with respect because he thought that it may be shirk and then he said"Lekin kiya zaroorat he" with respect not with niyyat of disrespect. He said this because he thought it means that we are maybe asking from Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) or something. Is this kufr?

Q: I have a question regarding the duas which are recited before and after going to the bathroom ("Allahuma innee a'udhu bika minal khubuthi.." and "ghufranak, alhamdulillahilladhi adhaba 'anni..").

Should these duas be recited if my purpose for entering the bathroom is to do wudhu in the sink or to take a shower? Or is it only if I enter the bathroom for going to the toilet?

Q: I read the following durood / salaam. "sallallahu Ala Mohammed sallallahu alaihiwasallam" Please clarify if this is acceptable to read?

Q: Can dua qunoot be recited anytime after or before any prayers or reciting of Quran Shareef or it is only restricted to witr prayers? 

Q: Is zikr bil kahar (la ilahaillah, illah and Allahu-allah), has roots from Quran and Hadeeth or from the lives of Sahaabah?

Q: I wish to marry a certain man, we are in no haram relationship. However I wanted to ask, as Muslims, are we able to pray to marry this certain person or is who we marry written and will no longer change? So what I’m trying to ask is can dua change who we marry?

Q: My question is when Muharram happens, before magrib of 1st muharram end of year dua is made and after magrib prayer new year dua is made and other amaal such as zikir majilis happens. What is your opinion? Should we take part?

Q: Is it better to praise Allah Ta'ala in Arabic or my own language? 

Q: I have been experiencing alot of difficulties in life over the years and just can't be happy despite trying many things to remove the difficulties. I am always sad and depressed.

Many years ago around the time my problems started, I read a book about some of the pious people of the past. In it there was a narration about a well known pious person being seen in a dream by someone after he passed away. The person asked this pious person about his condition in the hereafter. The pious person said that Allah granted him a place in Jannat near the Sidratul Muntaha because he was always in the state of huzn. Immediately I made dua "Oh Allah, keep me also in the state of huzn and grant me also a place in Jannat near Sidratul Muntaha" without even knowing what huzn means. Some time after this I remembered this dua and found out what it means.

1. Could it be because of this dua I made out of ignorance that I am always depressed and having problems in my life?

2. If it is because of this dua, what do I do now to put an end to my problems and constant state of huzn?
