Purchasing items with U Count points and giving it in charity

Q: I have the following queries regarding the U Count rewards from Standard Bank. I do earn these points but do not use them as per your previous fataawa that I read on your website.

My questions are as follows:

1. Can I purchase items from the U Count participating retailers e.g. Makro and give these items to my helper who is a non-Muslim or any Muslim person or any Muslim organization e.g. a Muslim orphanage?

2. Can I purchase items for me e.g. R1000.00 using the points and then take R1000 in cash and give it away to any Muslim, non-Muslim or any Muslim organization?

Taking an interest-bearing loan to study

Q: I have a great academic background and I want to continue my studies abroad. The country I am currently living in is Afghanistan, so my financial circumstances are not good and for continuing my studies I am not going to be able to pay for my education expenses.

Can I get a loan and this loan has been accompanied by interest. Studying abroad is my dream and I can make my future through this. So can I get the loan?

Masjid collecting rental from a padel court and restaurant on the masjid property

Q: There is a padel court and restaurant built on a Masjid property. The Masjid collects rental income from the padel court and restaurant. Weekly posts on their Instagram page, have pictures or videos of men playing (satr exposed), and women at the restaurant (dressed like kuffaar, women drinking non alcoholic cocktail's from wine glasses).

1. Is the income derived from renting the property to a sports facility (padel court, soccer, cricket, etc.) and restaurant permissible?

2. Are restaurants income permissible as they allow men and women mixed on food tables? Will they be held accountable for the intermingling committed?

Differences of opinion in Deen

Q: My understanding as far as difference of opinion is concerned, that means now the ummah can do as they please? Some will say gay relationships are fine and it's a difference of opinion, or drinking alcohol is fine and there is a difference of opinion, do you see where this is leading to?

A whole new generation of young and upcoming ulama who are deviated and this group will now lead the ummah astray. What is left of our true Deen taught to us by our elders of the past?

Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) did say that he fears the ulama even more than Dajjal. This is exactly what Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) was speaking of, am I correct in my understanding? Please correct me if I am thinking incorrectly.

Reading comics

Q: I would like to ask if it is permissible to read comics online which are pictured books online with no inappropriate content. The genres are:

1- Supernatural
2- Clean romance (no sex)
3- Time travel
4- Fiancés/husband /wife or boyfriend/girlfriend
5- Superpowers etc.

I will read all these only when I am menstruating or have nothing to do.
