Husband living with ex wife in the same house after divorce

Q: I am currently going through a divorce with my ex husband. We Islamically divorced last year in March.

He still lives at home in a separate room. I don’t see him throughout the day as me and him are at work, however we sleep under the same roof in separate rooms. He won’t move out till our divorce is finalised and I give him money towards the divorce as I applied for Khula. I know he doesn’t have to give me my haq maher.

I want to know If I am committing a sin by being in the same house as him since he won’t leave. I’ve asked him lots of times but nothing is working to get him to understand and to make him realise that he shouldn’t be in the same house as me. I don’t know what to do as he ignores my solicitors letters and requests as I am wasting my money on solicitors. Can you please guide me.

Cure for depression

Q: How do we cure depression? I pray five times a day. I am a religious type of person and I feel that Allah Paak is so close to me, but I always had depression. Can you please help me and tell me why this happens.

Reason for animals suffering in this world

Q: Why are some animals suffering in this world? Some animals just live in the middle of sadness and pain and die a painful death. And finally they just become dust and disappear after death. I don't mean the animals that we slaughter by the law of Allah Ta'ala, or animals that are killed by other animals by law of nature which law Allah Ta'ala gave them. I mean those animals that are abused by heartless people.

For example, I often see some people throw stones at dogs, or some pet shop owner's kill unsold cats, or some cow herders hit their cows with a stick strongly, etc.

Will these animal's suffering pay off someday by Allah Ta'ala? If "Yes" then I would like to know when and how?
