Making dua after salaah
Q: Is it sunnat to make dua after fardh salaat and a hadith supporting it if it's true. Many of my friends tell me that's an Indian innovation and not a sunnat of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Please advise.

Q: Gheebah is a very great sin. الغيبة اشد من الزنا.
So lots of people take it lightly and will still end up speaking bad about people and ask that person forgiveness afterwards etc.
When a person speaks bad regarding another person, if it falls under gheebat, the persons good deeds goes to the person he has spoken ill about. Now if he asks that person forgiveness, even if the person forgives him, will he get his good deeds back? Or will it be such that he can now ask Allah for forgiveness as the person has forgiven him, but he'll have to restart his good deeds?
I feel that people don't realize the gravity of the sin of gheebah, and take it very lightly. Please advise. I'm not an aalima so I am afraid if I'm thinking wrongly so I dislike saying anything regarding it incase I am erroneous in this regard.
Q: Sahih Muslim 2767a - Abu Musa' (radhiyallahu anhu) reported that Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:
When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire.
According to this hadith, a Jew or Christian will be our rescue from hell fire. I know that they will take our place in hell, but why did Allah said they are our rescue from hell? Is that the real wording? Because the non-muslim take this verse literally.
Q: I used to print my personal stuff from the office printer as everyone else also did. It is okay to print some amount but I took it too far and printed too much and now I feel guilty. Can I ask my boss if I can print personal things but actually the permission is for things I previously printed or should I confess? I also did this in my previous job. I want to repent properly.
Q: If some impure drops fell on my mobile and I just cleaned it with something and it vanished from the screen or is it necessary to wash or wipe it with water?
Q: On a milk packet I see the name Nurpur almost daily. When I want to discard the packet, I thought the word Nurpur contains the name Nur, similar to Noor which is a sacred name. Should I discard it after I tear the name into pieces or what should I do?
Q: Is it makŕooh to cut food or fruit on a glass plate or glass surface? Is there any relevance regarding this in Islam?
Q: My nikaah is to be next week Insha'Allah. I have requested multiple times to not have a function and have it the sunnah way. However my parents are not agreeing and when I try and explain I'm labelled as being disobedient to them, ungrateful and selfish. Both my in laws to be and my parents are saying that you have to compromise for society. This is however not the case, I only wanted to have it in a way that Allah and His Rasul (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would be pleased.
Out of respect for my in laws and my parents I have now kept quiet. Please advise as to what is the right thing to do.
Q: I have some skin tags on my face and shoulders. In order to remove them I tie dental floss tightly around it because it's flat. Regular cotton is sharp and cuts through it. The tags fall of after 10 days or so.
Will my fard ghusal be done while the dental floss is wrapped around the skin tag.
Q: Can a person convert to Islam if he is continuing in sinning? For example he says that he will commit zina with this girlfriend. And he won't break up and leave her alone after their marriage. However he will not commit kufr or shirk ever again neither minor or major nor will he do any other things and he will follow all the laws of Islam except he will Zina... And he says his shahada despite wanting to continue his relationship. Is his Islam accepted or denied?
