Q: Is it permissible for a person to wear the half leather socks that do not cover the ankle and middle part of the foot whilst in the state of ihraam?

Q: I am going for umrah in two days’ time. Nine days ago, I was six weeks pregnant and miscarried, but I also had surgery to have everything removed from the uterus before I go for umrah. Can I still perform umrah? I am still getting light bleeding.

Q: Is the rule regarding the top part of the foot being exposed during ihraam proven from ahaadith, as many claim this in only found amoung our ulama?

Q: A person went for Umrah, his plane landed in Jeddah on Tuesday morning,he stayed in Jeddah and on Wednesday after Asr he went to Makkah shareef for Umrah, he fastened ihraam in Jeddah,after Umrah he returned to Jeddah.Was it correct to fasten ihraam in Jeddah?

Q: What reward/benefit does one obtain when performing Sunnat Umrah? Will all your sins be forgiven? Are the reward /benefit the same as when one performs the Haj?

Q: If a person performs umrah in the month of Shawwaal or anytime thereafter during the months of hajj (i.e. from the beginning of Shawwaal till the 10th of Zul Hijjah), will hajj become fardh upon him?

Q: Is it advisable to make tawaaf with one's shoes in a bag. There are no more shoe racks in haram and it is difficult to enter and leave from same door.

Q: A family went for Umrah and stayed first in jeddah. The next day after Asr they left for Makkah shareef to perform Umrah and tied ihraam in Jeddah. Was this correct and if not what is the ruling?

Q: We plan on going for Haj this year Insha Allah. Is it permissible for my wife to use contraceptives to avoid falling pregnant. We have been accredited.
