Q: If Arif writes "You Go" on a sms on his phone with this in mind that he is thinking that he is saying this to his wife Rubab, but on the sms there is no mention of Rubab's name neither her number is displayed in the 'To' Field, its all in the mind. Does the intention count then or is it just nothing. Bearing in mind, Arif suffers from constant wasawas in every aspect of life, marriage, salah, wudhu, ghusl.
Q: I wrote on mt mobile 3 time divorce and showed it to my mother and told her that if you don't get me married in 6 months to my engaged wife, I will send this message to my wife. I only wanted to scare my mother. Thereafter I deleted it. Did a divorce take place before my nikaah can even happen?
Q: I am very tensed about a situation. I was having an argument with my wife and in anger I wanted to call her "Mother F______", but my tongue got stuck and instead I uttered the word "Mother" from my mouth. Have I committed "Zihar" though my intentions were not to call my wife "Mother". Should I now need to atone by freeing a slave, or observe fast, or serve food to needy people? My intentions were not to call my wife this.
Q: If a husband wrote in a message "I’m gonna divorce you now"...what does it mean? Does this count as a divorce or not? After he wrote it, he will prepare and send the docs very soon.
Q: I am a 25 year old Sunni Muslim girl. My father chose a boy for me and I got married two months back but my mother doesn't like the groom from day one because he is financially unstable and she is kind of possessive towards me. Now she wants that I should take a divorce and if I don't take a divorce, she will break all her relations with me. I don't have much of a problem with him and I m happy with him. I am in a dilemma, what should I do? I love both of them and I don't want to lose either my husband nor my mother.
Q: My cousin had some issues with his wife and his wife left him and moved to her parents. We all tried to settle the difference with them but she kept on asking for divorce. He went to court and sent her divorce papers... giving her divorce in it 3 times. Then every month the court sent her the notice for the divorce. Will the divorce be valid this way if there is no settlement between them even after 3 months?
Q: Two weeks ago a Shariah court issued a talaq raji. We continued to live in the same house and bed. Last night my husband forced me to have intercourse with him despite my objections and plea not to. He is physically stronger than me so I could not stop him. I am currently under iddah. Are we still divorced or does the sexual act automatically reinstate our marriage even though I didn't agree to it?
Q: If a husband is continuously involved in zina and is not even guilty of it, does the wife have the right to get separated? If yes, can she file a divorce instead of khula? Is such a right given to her in her nikaah agreement? What are the regulations in relation to khula and divorce? Can she give divorce? Does she have the right in her nikaah documentation according to sunnah? He will try to humiliate her to protect his image and even kill her if he comes to know that she knows he is a zaani. He will make it as painful for her as possible because thats the kind of person he is.
