Q: Me and my wife have split up and divorced but can we still stay in same house in seperate rooms as I being a lodger. This is for my childrens sake.

Q: Are the utterances of irtidad by an insane person considered. Will fasakh take place of his nikaah? What happens when the insanity is self induced. Meaning he became insane due to using drug substances. Will his utterances be considered?

Q: I want to ask that my husband said three times "Tum mutalaka ho" which is used as an alternative to "Tumay talaq deta houn". Am I divorced? Is this statement valid?

Q: I asked my husband for a divorce and he refuses to give me it. He told me to leave. He doesn't support the kids and I. We've been arguing alot and he was making threats. Can a family member issue the divorce or do I have to seek advice and counsel elsewhere? I am mentally and emotionally lost.

1. In that letter it states that once a month on weekend he is allowd to take my daughter and from fri to Sunday. My daughter is too small and doesn't leave my side. islamically is this allowed?

2. Do I have to pay half of my childs needs including education food etc?

3. In the list of what was mine in the house its not complete and there is no mention of the mehr. Is he allowed to keep the mehr?

Q: I have been divorced and got the English certificate and  the Islamic divorce certificate will be coming soon this week. I have known that I have to complete my iddah. I have been separated from my ex husband from april 2015 and applied my divorce on the June 2016. I have not seen him or slept with him. I want to say that do I still need to complete the iddah for three months or do I not have to when receiving the certificate. Can you please reply me. I am kind of confused. Because I have not been with him for more than a year.

Q: My brother just gave his wife divorce when he was really angry. He is now regretting it. He also does drugs. Is the divorce valid or not?
