Are the deceased aware of the happenings of this world?

Q:

1. Can a dead Muslim feel the feelings of his close relatives after his death? i.e their sorrows, weeping, happiness and they are remembering him or not after him/her? The soul of a good Muslim can come in the world to know about his family? I heard that the soul come to the place where he/she died for forty days. And they come if there is halwa or some good thing cooked like chicken and if there is lentil like masur dal then they go away, I heard that it is common concept of deobandis and bralvis.

2. Do we feel or see the souls of our close relatives? What is the reality of dreams about dead ones?

3. Dead can not hear us? but most muftis say that they can hear due to prophet saw used to say salam to them.

Surah fatir

Gadats

Q: Are 'gadats' which are commonly performed in (cape town , south africa) part of our Islamic religion and is it mentioned in the Quran. Is it a good thing? A Sunnah? Will one benefit from taking part in these 'gadats'? We also refer to these 'gadats' as 'thikrs'. Is gadats and thikr the same thing? What is the difference? What about the 3,7,40,100day (gadat) ceremonies for the deceased?

Sunnah dua to be recited in the morning and evening

Q: I want to query regarding a wazifa which I heard lately from an Aalim. However I cannot remember the words of the wazifa which the Aalim had told me. I can't remember whether her said أَعُوذُ باللهِ السَّمِيعِ العَلِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيم or أَعُوذُ باللهِ السَّمِيعِ الحَدِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيم. He said that after reciting this wazifa thrice, the last three verses of Surah Hashr should also be recited.

Forcing the purchaser to pay more than the agreed amount

Q: I bought a property from friend. We agreed to close our deal a year later. I paid him 40,0000 $ advanced. We signed a legal binding agreement. All good. After one year I asked to close our deal and he started asking more money. Property value gone up. I told him no, you are breaking your promise and agreement. He put pressure on me. Literally black mailing me. Otherwise I go to court and suffer more financial hardship. I surrender and promise verbally to pay 40k extra by taking a loan and paying him off. Now the deal is closed and I feel I should not give extra money that I don't even have but I feel bad that I am breaking my promise. Also I felt I was cornered. Please help me what should I do?

Hadith: Imam Mahdi and Esa (Alayhis Salaam)

Q: I would like to know the meaning of these Hadith: Does the first Hadith state that the imam Mahdi will die when he comes? And does the second Hadith mean that there will be khilafat after the imam Mahdi? (Just like the holy prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) had?)

Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (ﷺ). He will descent. When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him. : Sunan Abi Dawud 4324 In-book reference : Book 39, Hadith 34

2nd Hadith : Prophethood will remain in you for as long as God decides for it to remain and then God will remove it when He decides to remove it. After prophethood, there will be a rule on the style of prophethood and it will exist for as long as God decides for it to exist, then He will remove it when He decides to remove it. Then there will be a kingdom in which people will face trials and tribulations and it will continue to exist for as long as God decides for it to exist. Then He will remove it, when He decides to remove it. After this, there will be an oppressive kingdom and it will continue to exist for as long as God decides for it to exist. Then He will remove it, when He decides to remove it. Then there will once again be a rule on the style of prophethood. After saying this, the Prophet (sws) was silent. 2 This narrative is reported on the authority of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamān – al-Nu‘mān ibn Bashīr – Habīb ibn Sālim – Dā’ūd ibn Ibrāhīm al-Wāsitī – Sulaymān ibn Dā’ūd al-Tiyālisī.

Procedure of a Lay-by sale

Q: A person wishes to purchase some goods from a certain furniture store but does not have the money at present. The seller tells him that he can buy the furniture on lay-by. Will it be permissible for him to purchase the goods on lay-by and how does lay-by actually work? Through lay-by, does one become the owner of the goods immediately or only when the goods are completely paid for?
