Q: I have performed Umrah recently on 13 Zul Qadah. Reason was that I had to stay in Jeddah and leave for HAJJ on 7 zul hajj from Jeddah. I was told to perform umrah then go to jeddah as I was coming from taif. Now, can I perform niyyah of ifrad or tamattu?

If I perform Ifrad, must I do qurbaani? If so, will it be considered as wajib or sunnah?

I am staying in Jeddah for 3 weeks but my desire is to perform Ifrad hajj as in Ifrad it's sunnah and person of Ifrad is free to go for tawaf ziyaarah after rami and qasr. I prefer Ifrad but umrah in shawwal & zulqadah am I obliged for tamattu or niyyah counts?

Q:

1. Is it allowed in Islam to have legal weapons for self defense?

2. Is it a sunnah to have weapons for self defense?

Q:

1. A child who has minute pubic hair and under his/her arm pits, is it compulsory to remove the hair?

2. In the above situation if the child is not mature will he/she be sinful for not removing the pubic and under the arm pits hair?

Q: My family, especially my parents want me to get rid of my kitten that I bought but I am refusing. Can you please tell me if this is right or not. Am I committing a sin by not listening to my parents even though keeping a cat is not haraam.

1. We hear that Salafi’s don’t follow any Mazhab. Does this mean they are on the wrong path?

2. Will it be permissible to perform Salaah behind a Salafi Imaam and will the Salaah be in order?

4. Does being a Salafi affect your belief’s, Imaan, fasting, haj, etc.?

Q: I am going to put my new born son's name as "Firaas Abdul Ahad" فیراس. Its complete meaning in English is "Perspicacious" or "a person having good understanding/insight" and Servant of one Allah. Is it okay to have this name?

Q: Is it waajib to offer salaatul kusoof?

Q: If I am very certain that if I give salam to someone, that person won't answer me back as it happens always. Should I give salam to that person  everyday when they enter the home or should I refrain from this as it is increasing their sins?

Q:

1. If I am in the state of haidh, is it a waste of water if I do wudu after istinja? Or if I want to be in a state of wudu? Is it rewarding?

2. If I do wudu before fard ghusl do I have to repeat wudu after fard ghusl? As the wudu made before was during impurity.

Q: What are the sexual restrictions during a woman's periods? Can one touch the private parts with a cloth on them or the area between the naval and knee should be completely untouched even if a cloth is on the area?
