Doing magic on oneself

Q: I have a question about magic and attempting to use it or even having another black magician do certain magic on myself. I know this is a form of shirk and engaging in magic takes a person outside the fold of Islam. Does this mean I am no longer a Muslim and is it something that can be forgiven? What do I need to do?

Using a tissue to check if one's haidh has ended

Q:

1. If a woman, to check the end of her period, cleans her private part, places a tissue there, waits 30 minutes, checks and sees no discharge - does this mean her period is over? Should she wait longer than 30 min before deciding?

2. Also at the beginning/middle of her period, does she have to make ghusl and pray during the times when blood is not flowing? For example, she sees blood at the beginning of her habit and realizes her period has started. Then she sees no blood for about half a day, then she sees blood again and the blood continues for days. During this half a day, is she considered to be on her period?

Ruqyah treatment

Q: How often should one do ruqyah if one is suffering from ocd (more accurately waswas al-qahri)? If one is in the process of ruqyah and accidently utters an english word, is the ruqya nullified? How about an arabic word? Also, is it permissible to do one ruqya session for multiple illnesses (for same person)? Will this take away from the effectiveness?

Pimples on one's scalp

Q: I have been suffering for a while from persistent acne on my scalp. It seems nearly all the pimples on my head (and there are a lot) are filled with pus and when they pop, a lot of pus and blood comes out. They are also very sensitive and tend to pop even at a slight touch or even just by themselves.

1. Must I shower every time a pimple pops or can I pray after wiping as much blood away as I can?

2. If I check to see that a popped pimple has stopped bleeding, then I shower, do I have to recheck again after the shower to see if there is blood, or can I just get out of the shower without checking again (sometimes when I am rechecking with a tissue, this make the pimple bleed again)?

3. What if I was not aware of any popped pimples before I got into the shower, do i have to check for bleeding when I am done?

4. Also, sometimes I wipe my head and see blood on tissue but I cannot locate where the bleeding pimple is on my head, in this case can I just wait a certain amount of time, assume the pimple has stopped bleeding and shower?

5. Also, I am a woman and have long, relatively thick hair and the acne on my head is making it difficult to keep, not to mention the pimples itch so much and some are quite painful. If the acne becomes even worse, am I allowed to cut or shave my hair to make my scalp easier to treat?

6. Lastly, is there an Islamic treatment I can apply to my head for something like this.

Doubts regarding kufr

Q: Does saying words like 'I knew this would happen' or 'they knew she would say that' considered kufr? What about if the one who says this says it just as a prediction, and does not intend to mean that they have knowledge of the unseen?

Doing iddat in one's own home

Q: A poor woman who works as a full-time caretaker of another woman had the death of her husband. In this situation, is it permissible to do iddat in the house where she works since she is the only one to support her children and if she goes to her own home for iddat, she will not have any source of income?

Some people are willing to help her financially for the period of iddat to do iddat at her own home. What will be the best in these circumstances?
