Q: There are a few individuals that have done FUE (follicular unit extraction). The procedure involves taking a persons own hair and transplanting it to areas of the scalp where hair has thinned.

My understanding is few weeks after the procedure there is also natural growth in these areas and the hair can be cut and will regrow naturally.

Is this procedure using your own hair permissible?

Q: Is it permissible to intentionally get an extra limb amputated? Example: an extra finger or toe.

Q: 

1. Are we allowed to use products made with charcoal example: toothpastes, soaps, cosmetics, etc. 

2. Are we allowed to take it in tablet form as it is recognized for many health benefits?

Q: Is salmon dna injection halaal? It is called PDRN and these days they are used to increase collagen and elastin in skin. 

Q: My wife and I have been trying to fall pregnant for a few years now with no success, and after visiting a number of doctors, we've been advised that our only option going forward is to do an ICSI procedure. 

Is this procedure permissible in Islam?

Q: I wanted to ask about PRP treatment and this is how it works: 

A sample of the patient's blood is drawn. The blood is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from other blood components. The concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the area needing treatment. The injected PRP stimulates the body's natural healing process by releasing growth factors and other proteins that promote tissue regeneration, collagen production, and inflammation reduction. 

Is this allowed? Because I have acne scars... and I don't know if its allowed or not. 

Q: Is it permissible for a woman to go to a lady for a shoulder massage, not removing any clothes or exposing any awrah. 

Reason for shoulder massage is because the woman has a lot of stiff/stress knots which is interfering with daily activities by leaving it and not getting it out.

Q: With regards to the permissibility of using Aafiyah Healing, Bodytalk & Reiki as alternate healing/treatment, the treatment which is of great concern is one which is carried out by a practitioner abroad. 

All she requires are names of patients, other family members and maybe a few other details. 

There are no one on one consultations, to the extent she can tell things about patients and their problems even whilst the patient is asleep.

Q: Can cupping be done regularly? Once a month... Due to back pain etc.
