Using Sassa government grant amounts received on one's children

Q: I earn a decent amount of salary to take care of all the basic necessities of myself, my wife and 3 kids. At the end of the month I don't have any money to save for extra expenses. My wife is at home and does not work.

We applied for a sassa child grant for all my kids after they were born. We put aside that money for each of them every month separately. Alhamdulillah these savings have accumulated.

My son and daughter both need myobrace treatment as their jaws are not fully developed and their teeth are not growing straight. Can we use their sassa savings to go ahead with the myobrace treatment as I don't have money to pay for this treatment for them? The cost for each child will be approx R12k.

Teaching the children to be transparent with their parents

Q: Please can you recommend what age is appropriate to teach a child their body parts?

My 3.5 year old only knows it as her private area. And in the shower I only point to all the areas no one is allowed to touch. As she is getting older and ready for school soon my fear of sexual abuse increases daily and I want to know what I should be teaching her and when?

I only recall my mother ever talking to me about my own body when I became baligh, and I learnt about the male body when I was getting married. Now though, it's different. There's so much more fitnah. And parents that allow their kids to use screens, these kids are exposed to so much more.

I just want my daughter to get the correct knowledge from myself and her father here at home first before we send her out.
