Dried up impurity on one's carpet

Q: On my house carpet, sperm and urine has been on the carpet, however it has dried up and there's no trace left. Does the impurity from this area of the carpet transfer to people who step on the carpet? If not, what if someone with wet feet steps on the area. Also, does impurity transfer when it is wet or damp?

Water splashing when making istinja

Q: I am facing a weird issue for the past couple of weeks. I have observed that while performing istinja on an Indian toilet, the water splashes from the toilet surface and there is a chance that these splashes might end up on one's body, clothes or shoes.

What is the Islamic ruling for such splashes? From my part, I try very hard to avoid water from splashing but the water ends up splashing anyways.

Intention when making tayammum

Q:

1. Is niyyah necessary for tayamum?

2. Do I have to specify that I am doing tayamum for wudhu or for ghusal?

3. Do I have to specify that I am doing tayamum for a specific reason i.e for praying salaah, for janaazah, etc.?

4. If I do tayamum for janaazah, can I pray salaah with that tayamum?

5. Is tayamum valid without niyyah?

Finding a stain and odor on clothing after washing

Q: My non-baaligh brother often has accidents. This time, when he pooped in bed, I threw the bedsheets in the washing machine along with his underwear which was first washed by hand, and set the rinse 2 times for a total of 4 hours. During the second rinse I even threw in some of my clothes. As I was taking everything out of the dryer, the stains from the sheets were completely gone, and all the clothes smelled good, but then his underwear had a very light brownish colour and some odor. Does that mean the underwear is impure and everything else that was washed with the underwear is also impure? I put everything in the dryer before I noticed any of this so does that mean the dryer has to be purified now? What must I do?

Discharge after passing urine

Q: I suffer with bad thoughts that come into my mind during istinja. I always wipe and check to see if discharge came out and would see white discharge. It would worry me if mani came out and so I would check after passing urine and before cleaning. Sorry for this amount of detail. Because I used to feel discharge coming out I would check again and again.

1. Should I stop checking and always consider it to be mazi and not mani?

2. Also, in order for it to be mani, shouldn't the volume of the amount be a lot. I always feel it's a tiny bit. That's why I've taken it to be mazi as it's time consuming and bringing back waswas in to my life.

Difference between mani and mazi

Q: For a long time now I have found it difficult to distinguish between the features of mazi and mani. I noticed that my everyday discharge has a smell to it, like the smell of mani. So when I do get mazi I feel it could be mani, but I'm always unsure. This is because it looks thin and white on my clothes, but after wiping, its majority white but looks a little yellow toward the end. The discharge is mostly thin and white, but the last part looks a little yellow.

1. Is ghusl fardh upon me every time I see the discharge look like this?

2. Every time I see, what looks like mazi to me, always has the same smell as mani, but so does my everyday discharge. I'm kind of confused?
