Q: I wanted to find out if guns and bullets (rounds) are considered a need or an extra thing? If a person posseses a gun, is qurbani necessary on him? I've heard that extra things like frames and things in your home are considered in this matter when counting nisaab for qurbani. Please advice
Q: Is it makrooh to eat tripe and kidneys of an animal? Someone was told the tripe, organs which hold waste are makrooh to eat. Is it true?
Q: My father passed away in 2021 and, we, the heirs (mother, and 3 brothers, all adults) inherited property and cash as per shariah.
1.The cash was given by us to our mother. We made her the owner of that cash.
2. The property inherited (2 x 5 marla plots) are combined property of our mother and 3 brothers, the net worth of shares is above the nisaab.
Our mother pays yearly zakat as well as Qurbaani.
The question, Is it compulsory for us 3 brothers to pay zakat and qurbaani, provided that our indiviual monthly incomes/savings are less than the amount of nisaab (cannot even buy or share an animal for sacrifice and neither of us can move/sell, the shares of property, or use for any business means). Will zakat and Qurbani be applicable on this sort of shared property?
Q: In a case where shares of a Qurbani animal are bought for deceased, is it permissible to eat and use the meat of that share or should all of the meat of that share be given away?
Q: A person has many years of missed qurbani that he needs to make up for by paying market values.
1. Must he use the market value of a local animal (which would be expensive) or can he use the market value of a cheap country (such as the value of 1/7 cow in India)
2. Should he use the market value for the current year, or should he use the market values for the past years when he missed the qurbanis?
Q: Many people including A, B and C are doing their Qurbaani through an organization by paying equal amounts for each animal. The organization, after doing Qurbaani, will give A the meat of B, and B will get the meat of C and so on, i.e. the animal will be slaughtered for someone but its meat will be given to another person. However, in the end, all will get the meat. Is it fine?
Q: If a family purchases a cow for qurbani, however when sharing the meat, due to ignorance it was not distributed equally but mutually agreed.
1. Is the meat permissible to eat and gift to others
2. Is the qurbani valid.
3. If the qurbaani is not valid how should one compensate for it.
Q: My brother gave his qurbaani sheep skins to me. Can I sell the skins?
If I give it to someone else, can they sell the skins and use the money?
Q: Please advise regarding which parts e.g. (liver, kidney, brains, stomach, etc.) of the Qurbaani animal are permissible to eat and which are makruh, haraam, etc.
