Q: My husband and I are disagreeing on something. So basically my husband has friends that are non-Muslim which I dont have a problem with. However my problem is that my husband and them pass their cigarettes around. In my opinion, I say it's wrong as they are non-Muslims and they drink and so on, so their saliva should not touch my husband's mouth. However, my husband feels that I am being unrealistic and it's not their saliva that's touching the cigarettes, it's only their lips. I still feel that's not right. Please advise what is the correct way for this.
Q: Recently, I came across a clip of someone quoting the following hadith and explaining its great virtues:
عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قام بعشر آيات لم يكتب من الغافلين، ومن قام بمائة آية كتب من القانتين، ومن قام بألف آية كتب من المقنطرين (سنن ابي داود رقم 1398)
The same person explained further that if one is unable to recite that amount of verses from memory, he may recite them looking inside the Quran Sharif in salaah, be it in nafl or fardh salaah. His argument was the practise of Hazrat Aaisha (radhiyallaahu anha), who would appoint a person by the name of Zakwaan and he would lead her in salaah during the month of Ramadhaan, while reciting from a mushaf.
My questions are:
1. Does this hadith refers to only reciting in salaah or can refer to reciting outside the salaah?
2. Is it permissible to recite looking inside the Quran sharif while in salaah?
3. If is not permissible in the Hanafi mazhab, is there any permissibly for it in the other mazaahib? Under which circumstances will it be permissible (i.e. any difference in the maslah as far as a person who knows some portion of the Quran from memory and who doesn’t know, and any difference between a fardh and nafl salaah)?
4. If a Hanafi performs his salaah behind a person who is reciting looking inside the Quran sharif, will his salaah be valid?

Q: In a Hadith, our Nabi (SallAllahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) forbade it for Muslims to hate each other and we cannot boycott one another for more than 3 days.
My question is that on social media, some people are intent on bullying others. Would it be permissible to block people whose behaviour is harmful to a person, even if the opposite person is Muslim?
Q: Is it permissible to sell vapes, if a person only sells and doesn't smoke? Is the money derived from the sale of vapes halaal?
Q: If a sahib e tarteeb person performs 5 times daily salah for months without offering qadha first, will his daily salaahs be accepted?
Q: A university requires some money for per-registering then it chooses the best among the candidates. Is it gambling?
Q: If I venture into a capital investment partnership in which I will give the capital and my partner does the work. Q: I am working in a general insurance company as a loss adjuster which means that I assess loss of vehicle at the time of claim. Is it halaal or haram for me to work in a general insurance? As per my opinion, I am not in direct sales but I am doing the work which removes gharar from it as I assess the loss and do not allow additions or reductions as per terms. Also, I heard that if a company is owned by a Hindu, we can work in that insurance company.
